On page 121 of The Magic Presence the Ascended Masters Daphne and Arion were introduced. Daphne and Arion met with a group of soon to be Ascended Masters (Daniel Rayborn, Nada, Rex, Pearl and Godfre) at the Cave of Symbols, where they played the organ and piano and assisted when the visitors sat in the "Atomic Accelerator".

In Greek mythology, Daphne was a Greek oracular goddess having a number or oracular shrines dedicated to her at various locations in Asia Minor such as Antiocheia, Mopsuoestia (Cilicia), Sura and Patara (Lycia), and Telmessos (Caria). Represented by the laurel Daphne she is linked with the Daphnephoria festivals honoring Apollo.
