We honor Otto Schneider, a Student of the Ascended Masters under beloved Godfre and Lotus, the Messengers of The "I AM" Activity. Mrs. Ballard (now the Ascended Lady Master Lotus) confirmed to the "'I AM' Ascended Master Youth Group" of Chicago that Otto had completed His Ascension. Otto's photograph is displayed in the Youth Sanctuary at the "I AM" Temple in Chicago.

He had come from Europe to work at the Saint Germain Press for Mrs. Ballard in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. He was the Chicago Youth Group leader until He made His Ascension. Interestingly, He volunteered to resign from the Youth leader position when He was getting rather beyond the officially sanctioned age of 33 for "I AM" Youth. Mrs. Ballard a few days later asked Him to continue on because Beloved Saint Germain thought He was doing a good job. He also was the understudy musician to Frederick Landwehr, and apparently an excellent pianist and organist. Frederick had hoped that Otto would take over the music after Frederick made the Ascension, but Otto went up 30 years before Frederick. Otto also played one of Beloved Jesus disciples in the annual "I AM Come" Pageant at Mount Shasta.

Otto was the musician for the Thursday evening 100% Group meetings in Chicago. Customarily the group would sing "The Ascension" at the conclusion of the meetings just before listening to the recording of the Ascended Master Dictation. That particular evening, the group leader chose to have just an instrumental Contemplation of this musical selection which Otto played.

Immediately following the meeting Otto customarily drove home one or two of the more senior ladies. He kept on commenting "I think I must have ruined my good white suit coat; for I was sweating so profusely when I played that comtemplation music to The Ascension".

The next evening Otto didn't show up for the normal Youth Group meeting. The office manager at the "I AM" Temple asked one of the other Youth to begin some Violet Flame decrees until Otto arrived - thinking that he may have had a flat tire, or some other difficulty with his car. The manager at the Saint Germain Press, on the South side of Chicago, was also contacted.

A few "I AM" Students checked Otto's house. As they went inside they found the music for "The Ascension" was open on the music rack of Otto's piano. His body was still dressed in his white suit, and found lying face up on top of his bed coverings. His arms were by the sides of his head - as though he had been reaching up.

His face remained with the expression of a very happy smile! Otto had Ascended and become One with His Beloved Mighty I AM Presence in the Victory of the Ascension. ⁴
